Joe Isaac, PT, CSCS

Owner

Joe Isaac graduated from Ohio State University in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. He spent his first three years as a physical therapist at King's Daughter's Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky where he treated a variety of patients in an outpatient setting. He later advanced to the coordinator of industrial rehabilitation. His responsibilities included performing functional capacity evaluations, pre-employment screens, job analysis, and program development. In October of 1997, he branched off on his own and began a number of home health and long-term care physical therapy contracts. In January of 1998, he and his business partner opened their first outpatient clinic in Ironton, Ohio. This has now grown to include five locations.

Isaac's passion had also included fitness, which has now become a large component of the services provided at each location includes a full fitness center. These facilities are open to the general public and active patients and are called Preferred Fitness Centers.

Isaac is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and has developed a sports performance program for athletes of all ages called F.A.S.T. (Function Agility Strength Training). F.A.S.T. is also available at all locations. He also serves on the board of directors for the Ohio Physical Therapy Network, which aggressively promotes private practice issues throughout the state.
